Thank you for chosing Apec Reversed Osmosis Systems. We build the finest water filter in America. In this video we are going to discuss the RO unit and go over what is included when you receive your Reversed Osmosis system.

The 5 stage drinking water unit operates simply on water pressure and can remove up to 99% of contaminants commonly found in a water source. Each unit comes complete and is quality assured before shipping.

Installation can be done in about an hour with a few standard tools. Upon opening the box you'll find the company information along with the instruction manual needed to assist in installing your RO system.

The top layer consists of the first, second and third stage housing with the prefilters already enclosed: one sediment and two carbon filters. The middle layer consist of a pre assembled RO-head with everse osmosis membrane filter and two-stage carbon filters already installed.

On removing the RO head you will find a luxury chrome faucet and hardware and that’s upgraded to a designer faucet. A wrench for opening and closing the pre-filter housings and the parts bag, the parts bag includes everything needed to assist in installing the RO system.

Color coded tubing in 5 feet increments to connect the RO system to the storage tank. Cold feed water line and dedicated RO faucet. A membrane wrech for opening and closing the membrane cap. A feed water adapter, a drain saddle, a tank ball valve to turn on and off the flow of water to and from the tank.

A faucet adapter for the RO faucet and teflon tape to secure any threaded fitting. The bottom layer consist of a 4 gallon pressurized storage tank. When installing your RO system you need a few household tools: a power drill with some drill bits, an adjustable wrench and a screwdriver.

I am gonna show you how quick and easy it is to change the filters in your Watts four filter quick change reverse osmosis system.

First thing you're going to do is turn off the cold water, it will always be one on the right. Go ahead and push your faucet, let it all drain out as much as it will.

Okay now you're ready to take the filter off. Essentially all you need to do is take the first filter, turn a quarter turn anf pull it out. Do the same thing with all four.

Okay, take your new filters, pull the top off, put it in, twist. And that's all there is to it.

You're gonna need to flush the system three different times in order to remove any loose carbon and what not that’s in there before you're ready to drink any of it.

Once you hear the gurgling stop that means the tank is full go ahead and pull the lever down you'll see, you'll see the water start flowing. Wait until it's completely flushed and it stopped running.

Push it back up and let it close, you'll hear the waters starts gurgling again wait until the tank is full; do this three times so that the system is completely flushed.

After that you can enjoy great tasting water and I tell you I've tasted this water before and it it tastes really good.
